A W Hainsworth and Sons Ltd is a fully vertical manufacturer carrying out all processes from raw wool to finished cloth in-house.

Raw wool is carefully selected to ensure it delivers the right blend and ultimate quality in the finished product. Indeed, the Hainsworth family has many years of expertise in selecting the most appropriate wools and we personally visit wool auctions across the world including those in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

We have a rich tradition of embracing and harnessing innovative technology to drive the quality and efficiency of our operation. Our mill is fully equipped with all the very latest machinery, from spinning frames, looms and scouring and milling machines to tenter, finishing and cutting edge dyeing equipment.

We can weave both wool and synthetic fibres in a variety of constructions and weights up to widths of 4.6 metres as well as offering a complete choice of finishes including heat setting, raising, chemical treatments and coatings.
